The Island 94.7 and 97.5

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY. A purchase or donation will not increase your chances of winning. One winner will receive two concert admissions with a total approximate retail value of $95.28.

1 Sponsor and eligibility

This giveaway is sponsored and administered by St. Simons Radio, Inc., operator of The Island 94.7 and 97.5 (the “Station”). It is open to legal residents of Georgia who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry. The winner’s guest must also be at least 21. Employees, officers, and board members of the Station, and their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible. Immediate family means spouse, parents, children, and siblings. Void where prohibited.

2 Entry period

Entries open when the Station publishes the original Soulful Strings of Hope giveaway post on its official Facebook page, The Island 94.7 97.5. Entries close Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 12:00 noon Eastern Daylight Time. The timestamp recorded by Facebook determines whether an entry is on time.

3 How to enter

During the entry period, comment on that original giveaway post with the name of your favorite jazz or R&B song. By submitting an entry, you agree to these Official Rules. A free Facebook account is needed for this entry method.

Limit one entry per person. Additional comments or accounts do not provide additional chances. Comments on shared copies, other posts, or private messages do not count as entries. Liking or following the page, sharing or reposting, and tagging friends are not required and do not increase the odds of winning. Automated, fraudulent, or late entries are not eligible.

4 Prize and concert details

One winner will receive two tickets, for the winner and one guest, to Soulful Strings of Hope: A Night of Jazz and R&B in the Key of Pink, featuring Javonne Jones and Willie Soul and hosted by Teia Acker-Moore.

 

The concert is Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM Eastern at 201 Lounge, 201 James B. Blackburn Drive, Suite B, Savannah, Georgia 31408.

 

The stated retail value is $47.64 per ticket, for a total prize value of $95.28, based on the ticket price provided to the Station for this giveaway. The prize is admission for two only. VIP benefits are not promised. Transportation, parking, lodging, food, beverages, and other personal expenses are the winner’s responsibility unless expressly included with the admissions supplied by the organizer.

5 Random drawing and odds

The Station will randomly select one potential winner from all eligible entrants after entries close on October 22, 2026, and no later than 5:00 PM Eastern that day. Each eligible person will have one equal chance. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries. Selection is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these rules. If there are no eligible entries, no prize will be awarded.

 

6 Winner notification and claim

The Station will reply to the potential winner’s comment from its official Facebook page and ask the entrant to contact the page privately through Messenger. The entrant must respond within 24 hours of that reply and provide a legal name and information reasonably needed to verify age and Georgia residency. Do not post identification or private contact information in public comments.

If the potential winner does not respond within 24 hours, declines the prize, or is ineligible, the Station will randomly select an alternate from the remaining eligible entrants. An alternate must respond within 24 hours of notification or by 12:00 noon Eastern on October 25, 2026, whichever comes first. The process may continue until a winner is confirmed or that final deadline is reached.

7 Admission at the venue

The confirmed winner’s legal name will be placed on the venue’s admission list for the winner and one guest. The winner should bring valid government-issued photo identification matching the submitted name and check in with venue staff on the night of the concert. The winner and guest should arrive together and must comply with venue admission requirements and conduct rules.

No tickets will be mailed or sent electronically by the Station. The winner is responsible for providing an accurate name and following the admission instructions supplied by the Station. No purchase or payment is required to claim the prize.

8 Prize conditions

The prize has no cash alternative and may not be sold or transferred without the Station’s approval. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. Event timing, performers, and admission arrangements are subject to the event organizer’s decisions. The Station does not control the concert. If the event is canceled or rescheduled, the Station will communicate any options made available by the organizer; no cash payment or substitute prize is guaranteed.

9 Information and announcements

The Station, not Meta, collects information submitted for this giveaway. By entering, you consent to the Station using your public entry and Facebook name to administer the drawing and contact the selected entrant. If you accept the prize, you consent to the Station sharing your legal name with the organizer or venue solely to arrange admission for you and your guest, and announcing your name as the winner on the Station’s Facebook page or on air. Entry alone does not enroll you in a marketing mailing list.

10 Meta and Facebook disclaimer

By entering, each participant fully releases and agrees to hold Meta Platforms, Inc., including Facebook, harmless from liability arising from or relating to this giveaway, to the extent permitted by law. Participants acknowledge that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta or Facebook. Questions about this giveaway must be directed to the Station, not Meta.

11 Rules and questions

The Station will administer this giveaway fairly and in accordance with these rules. Any necessary material change will be publicly disclosed on the Station’s website and Facebook page and announced on air as applicable. These rules are available at theisland947.com. The Station will never request payment or credit card information to award this prize. Verify that any winner notification comes from the official Station page.
